OfficinaSpecialized publications say that the tyres producing houses project their products in order to be retreaded. In fact, the part of the tyre, which is subject to wear, is about the 20%, while the framework, most of the times, doesn't pay for alterations.

In our economic system to retread a tyre (above all the heavy and light duty ones) has become a rule. The main target, therefore, is to reach the highest level of reliability to assure the clients of the highest safety.

In order to meet every operator's technical and economic requirement, we can offer reliable tyres and several measures and drawings, produced thanks to the Bandag “cold retreading” technology.
With the “hot retreading” system the tyre, which might have already been retreaded, can be used once again if, after a careful analysis, it is fit for that aim after the first retreading. So, technological and structural potentiality of the framework is exploited to the utmost, with a further cost supply in time, new saving and respect of nature. Another advantage of “hot retreading” is the appearance of the retreaded tyre which is difficult to distinguish from a new tyre; differently from “cold retreading” where a bond line can be visible on the side wall.
